Relationship Therapy

Relationship therapy is for people seeking to improve their connection to one another. This can include:

  • LGBTQ+ Couples Therapy

  • Multiple Partner Therapy (ENM/Poly)

  • Roommate Therapy

  • Business Partner Therapy

  • Adult Sibling Therapy

  • …and more!

In relationship therapy, we’ll use various tools from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), and a neuroqueer lens to explore the relationship cycles and triggers that keep your relationship(s) from growing stronger.

Whether needing help addressing ENM/poly dynamics, big life changes, differences in values, building trust, sex & kink, neurodiversity & support differences, or you’re just tired of being stuck in the same old conflict cycles again and again, relationship therapy can help you re-connect to one another.

As your therapist, I promise to show up to each session as my truest and most present self, without my own agenda of how or who you “should" be. I don’t believe your difficulties are simple problems to be “fixed.” Healing and change is a dynamic, artful process. In relationship therapy, I help people come back into alignment with themselves and one another.

FAQs

  • Most clients meet weekly for 55-minute sessions. Depending on your needs and goals, there may be the option to meet more or less frequently (e.g., twice a week or every other week). This can be discussed during your consultation.

  • At the beginning of relationship therapy, I’ll meet with everyone involved as a group first before one round of individual sessions. After I’ve met with everyone, we’ll then meet together to explore common conflict cycles, triggers, and current coping skills.

In our work together, we’ll utilize tools from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to build communication skills and deepen awareness around our attachment patterns and interpersonal needs.

  • The duration of therapy can vary depending on your needs and goals.

Some clients may benefit from short-term therapy that lasts a few months, while others may engage in therapy for a longer period. We’ll work collaboratively to determine the most appropriate length of therapy based on your specific circumstances.
